COUPLES can boost their chances of conception by more than half — simply through better timing, researchers say.
Those having sex around the woman’s fertile window had a 28 per cent chance of becoming pregnant that month.

They used pee tests to track ovulation to guide them when to get it on.
Their success rate compares with 18 per cent through regular, unplanned nookie.
The findings are from an Oxford University team that looked at data from six studies involving 2,374 women attempting to conceive naturally.
Lead researcher Dr Tatjana Gibbons said: “This update suggests a benefit of timed intercourse using urinary ovulation detection.”

However, experts said more evidence was needed before the practice could be promoted — especially for couples who had struggled to conceive for a long time.
