They used pee tests to track ovulation to guide them when to get it on.
Their success rate compares with 18 per cent through regular, unplanned nookie.
The findings are from an Oxford University team that looked at data from six studies involving 2,374 women attempting to conceive naturally.
Lead researcher Dr Tatjana Gibbons said: “This update suggests a benefit of timed intercourse using urinary ovulation detection.”
